- Find out who is the librarian at the time you wish to use the library. The librarian is Ben Suelzle (Room S624)
- Locate the card catalogue boxes in the departmental library (they are stored on top of the filing cabinets)
- Select the card which matches the name of the book or article you wish to study.
- Take the card out of the box and give it to the librarian, along with your student id card. Your student ID card will be kept by the librarian until you return the material you have borrowed.
- No material may be removed from the campus. You are welcome to work in the departmental library - there is plenty of room. If you wish to photocopy material, you may do so at the Main Library or the coin-operated copier in the History Library (W603), but the material must then be brought straight back to the department.
