Course Structure:
Students complete these two units of 12 points each:
CHB4101 Ethics
This semester-long unit provides an overview of contemporary ethical theories relevant for ethical decision making. [Applicants who have completed the Centre’s Intensive Bioethics Course with additional assessment, may be granted advanced standing and be credited for this unit. CHB4300 Human Research Ethics
On completion of this unit, participants will have a comprehensive grasp of the ethical issues raised in human research, including how they apply to all aspects of the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research.
