Indigenous Studies Bachelor of Letters
The Bachelor of Letters is a course offered by the Faculty of Arts available to students who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree at Monash University or any other recognised tertiary institution, in any discipline. This course may be of interest to students who wish to add Australian Indigenous Studies to their qualification, particularly students who have completed a degree in Education or Law.

Duration
Two years full-time, or not exceeding six years part time.
Description of course
The course comprises 96 points, and students must enrol only in units offered in the Bachelor of Arts. Students are required to complete a major in one of the Arts disciplines in this case Australian Indigenous Studies. The major sequence makes up half of the degree (48 points) and the remainder of the course (48 points) must be made up of other Arts units. Please contact CAIS to obtain a booklet setting out the units available for this year.
Entry point
Successful completion of an undergraduate degree at a recognised tertiary institution.
Credits
No credits from previous studies, other than Arts units, will be granted towards this course.
Cost
This course is available as a HECS liability.
