Monash Students Win Language Contest Again!

May 2008

Monash University students have once again been recognised for excellence in Chinese language.

Students Kristian Rodd and James Kett have been awarded first and second place respectively at the Melbourne section of the prestigious Chinese Bridge competition. Chinese Bridge is a world-wide language competition for foreign students not of Chinese background. They will travel to China to compete in the finals in July, representing all Victorian and Tasmanian universities.

The competition requires each entrant to give a speech and also a performance.
