Chinese for Australia

Chinese for Australia Beginners is designed for beginning level students of Chinese at Monash. The interactive language exercises have been developed as supplements to the material delivered during classes and aim to consolidate and extend class learning, allowing students to work independently at their own pace. The exercises relate to corresponding lessons in Xin Hanyu jiaocheng I (Beijing: Beijing University press, 2000). A small number of simple web tasks is provided, enabling learners to visit authentic language environments where they can utilise and extend their language skills and cultural understanding.
