Liberty vs Security: A Necessary Trade Off?
Monash University in partnership with Victoria Police is conducting a forum in April, examining the legislative and policy environment relevant to counter-terrorist policing.
The free forum titled 'Liberty vs. Security: A Necessary Trade Off?', will be held at Monash Law Chambers in Melbourne, and is being conducted by Monash's School of Political and Social Inquiry as part of the three-year joint project, 'Counter-terrorism policing and culturally diverse communities'.
The forum will include policing practitioners, academics, public commentators, journalists, policy-makers and community representatives.
