The honours program in Italian studies is administered by the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics.
Italian studies honours can be completed within the honours degree of the Bachelor of Arts, or the honours degree of the Bachelor of Letters.
Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising:
- two coursework honours units;
- a Language Study Abroad unit; and
- a thesis.
OR
- two coursework honours units;
- a language unit (level 8 entry into Honours); and
- a thesis.
OR
- two coursework honours units;
- a special reading course; and
- a thesis.
Coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the Italian studies honours co-ordiantor.
