The honours program in Philosophy is administered by the School of Philosophy and Bioethics.
Philosophy honours can be completed within the honours degree of the Bachelor of Arts, or the honours degree of the Bachelor of Letters.
Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising: two core coursework honours units and a thesis.
In addition to these formal seminars, there is a weekly research seminar where honours and postgraduate students discuss their current work. Attendance at this research seminar is strongly recommended.
Coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the Philosophy honours co-ordiantor.
