Step one: receiving an offer
Your offer letter contains the following information:
- your student identification number (student ID)
- the course you have been offered
- the fee type
- the contact details for the School that administers your course (for Postgraduate courses only)
- School enrolment instructions (if applicable)

You have your offer letter, what next?
Accepting your offer
You are not officially 'in' your course until you have enrolled in units. Once you have enrolled, the Faculty of Arts will deem your offer as accepted.All enrolment for coursework students is conducted online using the Monash 'Web Enrolment System' (WES ). You can choose your units, allocate your tutorials, set-up your email, amend your address details, complete your enrolment questionnaire and complete your CSP -HELP (formerly HECS-HELP) or FEE-HELP form online. Information on how to do this is provided below. Before you can use WES to enrol, you will need to follow the instructions in Step two.
Deferring your offer
All students are entitled to defer the commencement of their studies for up to one year. If you would like to accept your offer, but defer commencement of study until Semester Two 2008 or Semester One 2009, you will need to officially inform the Faculty of Arts. You can choose from one of three advice options: Online via the Web Enrolment System (WES), submitting a form (included in your offer package), or send an email to the Arts Coursework Office -Coursework@arts.moansh.edu.au.
Please note: if you wish to defer online, you will need to proceed to the next step to register for computer access. Then you will need to login to WES and click on 'Apply for a course deferment'.
