Step two: register for your computer access

To set up your computer access you need to register for your Monash (authcate) username and password by going to the Accounts and Passwords website. Please ensure that you keep a record of your username (authcate) and password.

Your authcate username and password allow you to access the IT resources of Monash, including the my.monash portal. The portal is your simplified and personalised gateway into the Monash intranet. It provides you with updates and information on services and activities, both administrative and academic, which relate to your enrolment. You will be able to enrol online when you have set up this account.

If you already have an active computer account and authcate username (e.g. if you are already studying at Monash) you can skip this step.

If you find you are having difficulties with your access please contact the IT Helpdesk.
