Current Monash Students

To be eligible to study overseas in one of our Arts programs in Prato you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age or over at the time of the departure from Australia
  • Have an active enrolment in a Monash undergraduate coursework degree program and have completed 48 Credit Points
  • Have a Credit Average (60%) if taking more than 6 Credit Points*
  • Have received course advice from your home faculty and approval/confirmation of eligibility to take Prato units for credit. A Course Advice Confirmation form is to be signed off by the Course Advisor. The form is included in the Monash Abroad International Study Program application form and must be submitted together with the application form. To download a copy of the application see apply
  • Students may be eligible to apply for Arts programs at Prato during Winter Semester if they are already undertaking overseas travel or exchange/study abroad programs, as long as you are able to obtain course advice from your home faculty and be eligible to enrol. You must also check with Monash Abroad for eligibility.

* Students will be eligible to take up to 18 credit points of study if they take a 'Gallipoli' unit prior to the July program in Prato.

Applicants new to Monash

Our programs are also available to students not enrolled in a degree at Monash University. The following study options are available:

Cross Institutional Study This is for students currently enrolled in a degree at another Australian tertiary institution. Your home institution must support your application to study units in Prato/Gallipoli. You must complete:

Exchange Students

Currently students from the following partner institutions can apply to study Monash Arts in Prato:
