Peter Kerr Scholarship

  • School: School of Humanities, Communications and Social Sciences
  • Prize: Commonwealth-supported place paid plus A$5000 .00
  • Level: Fourth and Fifth-year level, Honours and Postgraduate students
  • Description: Available to students who have completed an undergraduate degree in the School and wish to undertake postgraduate studies. Selection criteria include aptitude for further study, all-round interests in the humanities, academic results and financial position.

Postgraduate Departmental Scholarship

Zyga and Diana Elton Bursaries

  • Discipline: Jewish Civilisation
  • School: School of Historical Studies
  • Prize: up to A$4,000 per annum
  • Level: Fourth-year level, Honours, Masters Qualifying, Masters and PhD Research students
  • Description: Financial assistance for students undertaking the above courses in Jewish Civilisation. Awarded on the basis of academic record for research in Jewish Studies.

  • Discipline: Jewish Civilisation or Hebrew

  • Level: Graduate Diploma in Education students taking Jewish and/or Hebrew method units
  • Description: Book allowance.

Howard Brown Prize for Contribution to Environmental Awareness, The

  • Discipline: Geography and Environmental Science
  • School: School of Geography and Environmental Science
  • Prize: A$100.00
  • Level: Fourth and Firth-year level, Postgraduate students
  • Description: The prize is an annual award for the student (or team) judged to be worthy.
