Australian Indigenous Studies: Arts Honours Area of Study
Campus availability: Clayton, Gippsland
The honours program in Australian Indigenous studies is administered on the Clayton campus by the Centre for Australian Indigenous studies (CAIS).
On the Gippsland campus the program is administered by the School of Humanities, Communications and Social Sciences (HUMCASS ).
Australian Indigenous studies honours can be completed within the honours degree of the Bachelor of Arts or the honours degree of the Bachelor of Letters.
Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising: two coursework honours units and a thesis.
Coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the Australian Indigenous studies honours coordinator.
