Drama and Theatre Studies

The honours program in Drama and Theatre Studies is administered by the School of English, Communications, and Performance Studies .
Drama and Theatre Studies honours can be completed within the honours degree of the Bachelor of Arts or the honours degree of the Bachelor of Letters . Students who completed the Bachelor of Performing Arts (and meet the necessary entry requirements) can complete the honours degree of the Bachelor of Performing Arts.
How to apply
NB: It is possible to do Honours in Drama and Theatre Studies part-time, although this is not recommended.
Program
Students complete 48 points at fourth-year level including: a dissertation, thesis or creative project; a compulsory coursework unit (DTS4000); one additional coursework unit chosen from the electives listed. Students are also required to attend a short methodology course.
Coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the Drama and Theatre Studies Honours Coordinator .
