German studies

The honours program in German studies is administered by the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics.
German studies honours can be completed within the honours degree of the Bachelor of Arts,, or the honours degree of the Bachelor of Letters.
Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising of either:
- two coursework honours units and a thesis (24 points); or
- three coursework honours units and a thesis (12 points).
There is a strong expectation that students will complete at least one semester's study at a German University.
Coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the German studies honours co-ordiantor.
