Music: Arts Honours Area of Study

The honours program in Music is administered by the School of Music - Conservatorium.
Music honours can be completed within the honours degree of the Bachelor of Music.
Students complete units to the value of 48 points in their chosen stream. In each stream, students will take a 24 points core honours unit plus two 12 point honours units. The streams are:
- Performance
- Composition
- Musicology
- Ethnomusicology
Coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the Music honours coordinator.
