Information for Prospective Students - Drama & Theatre Studies

The Centre of Drama and Theatre Studies offers the following courses. For information about any of the programs, please contact the Centre. For information on how to apply, contact the Arts Faculty Office or go to the Arts Future Students website.

Coursework programs

Bachelor of Performing Arts

Application is through VTAC.

1. VTAC is now open for 2008 applications. Go to http://www.vtac.edu.au
2. Once you have lodged your VTAC application you will also need to complete the online Supplementary Information Form available from the Monash Admissions webpage
3. As part of your supplementary information you must forward a written reference to the Centre - please include your VTAC number and name.

• Please do not send demo tapes or photographs.
• Do not use bulky bindings or folders. They only make it difficult to store your application.
• The due date for written references is 2 November, 2007.

Drama majors:

Applicants must complete and submit the Supplementary Information Sheet available from http://www.adm.monash.edu.au/admissions/ by the deadline stated in the VTAC guide. Any applicant who is required to attend an interview/audition will be contacted prior to VTAC second round offers. Music majors:

Applicants must complete and submit a Music Audition form available from the music website, and pay the audition fee by the deadline stated in the VTAC guide.
