Deadline for submissions

Colloquy is presently seeking unsolicited submissions for our next issue.

The deadline for issue 23 is 1 March 2012.

All articles, review articles and translations will be blind-refereed by academics working in appropriate fields for assessment to ensure the originality and currency of the journal, and to maintain a high standard of critical writing.

How to submit material to Colloquy

Submission format

Colloquy only accepts submissions electronically in Document (.DOC) format. Manuscripts should be double spaced and set in 12 point Times New Roman. Please include page numbers and do not include anything that would identify the author.

Referencing should conform to the latest edition of the Chicago Manual of Style, using endnotes with full bibliographical details (no list of works cited). Colloquy uses Australian spelling and double quotation marks.

Submissions may be accompanied by images, but it is the author's responsibility to obtain copyright for publication. Images should be submitted in:

Sending submissions

Submissions are accepted in soft copy via email only.

Along with your soft copy attachment in DOC or RTF format, you must supply the following information within your email:

  1. Clearly state that "the material submitted is not under simultaneous consideration for any other publication"
  2. The author's institutional affiliation
  3. The author's correspondence address
  4. A short abstract of the submission (up to 150 words)
  5. Up to five key words
  6. A short biography of the author (optional)

All submissions should be emailed to the Colloquy editors.
