Getting Access (Registration and 24-hour access)
To use one of the centres you must complete a Centre Registration Form which you can download here, in PDF format. Or contact ECPS.
After-hours Swipe Card Access
Access to Monash buildings outside normal hours is by swiping your Monash student id card. To arrange this you need to tick "24 hour access to building" on the Centre Registration form. NB: access needs to be updated at the end of each year.
Requesting an allocated workspace
To request an allocated workspace in the ECPS Postgraduate Centre (Menzies Building) tick "Allocation of workspace" on the Centre Registration Form.
ECPS confirms workspace allocations at the start of each year. If a workspace becomes available during the year, a call for requests will be made by email. Depending on demand workspaces may be offered on a shared basis.
Please note: preference will be given to students without other university workspace allocated to them and to students in the writing up stage. Also, to ensure that everyone is given an opportunity to benefit from the Centre's resources, students allocated workspaces may not be granted an extension after their allotted time if other students are waiting for a workspace.
University and Faculty provided space
Both the University and Faculty offers a wide range of workspace options for postgraduate students. For more information go to Postgraduate Facilities and Resources.
