The Arts Faculty has the strongest reputation for excellence in teaching. University-wide comparative reviews of teaching show that, of all the faculties in the University, the Arts Faculty consistently receives the highest ratings for teaching. The Faculty is actively engaged in ongoing and systematic reviews of its course offerings and teaching methods. The importance of the creation of optimal learning environments for students is emphasised as a key area of professional responsibility.
