Berwick pre-enrolment sessions
Welcome to the Faculty of Arts. We would like to invite you to attend our pre-enrolment session on Friday 23 January 2009.
Our pre-enrolment presentation will give you valuable information on:
- The structure of your degree
- How to choose units
- How to enrol online; and
- How to be successful at Monash University
You will meet academic and administrative staff from the faculty. Information on the disciplines available in the Faculty of Arts will be available for you to collect.
At pre-enrolment you will also get the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about your course and enrolment.
Enrolment for the Faculty of Arts is conducted online using the web enrolment system (WES). You must complete your enrolment between Friday 23 January 2009 and Friday 30 January 2009. Our undergraduate enrolment guide will assist you with your enrolment requirements. However, we recommend you attend your pre-enrolment session prior to attempting your enrolment.
VTAC Round 2 students should follow the undergraduate enrolment guide. We have loaded information from our pre-enrolment sessions for you to view. You must complete your enrolment between 9 February and 13 February 2009 online via the web enrolment system (WES).

What to do before attending your pre-enrolment session?
At pre-enrolment we will give you the information and resources you need to enrol at home. However, we recommend reading step 3 and step 4 of our undergraduate enrolment guide so you are better prepared to ask questions on the day.

What if I miss pre-enrolment?
You should make every effort to attend the pre-enrolment session for your course. Pre-enrolment is designed to make your enrolment easier, to give you the relevant information to structure your course, and to allow you to ask questions.
However, we understand that sometimes it may not be possible to attend. You do not need to contact us to tell us. If you are unable to attend the pre-enrolment session, you will be able to view most of the pre-enrolment information online. This includes the presentation on the requirements of your course and handouts on the areas of study available. Pre-enrolment online information will be available from the 23 January 2009 under step 3 and step 4 of the undergraduate enrolment guide.
When will I need to enrol?
Students enrolling in courses managed by the Faculty of Arts must enrol online between Friday 23 January and Friday 30 January 2009, unless otherwise specified in your offer letter. You will need to complete the administrative forms and enrol in units on the web enrolment system (WES). Our enrolment guide will help you to enrol successfully. You can read the guide prior to attending enrolment; however, you should note that you will not have access to WES until the 23 January 2009.
