Credit for Previous Tertiary Studies
You may be eligible to receive credit in your course for previous tertiary studies. This includes students that took enhancement studies as a part of their VCE.
Pre-assessed credit
The Faculty of Arts automatically assess you for credit based on the information provided with your application, either to VTAC or directly to us.
Your pre-assessed credit will be available for collection at your Course Information Session/Enrolment Session.
If you missed your course information session or enrolment session, please visit Arts Student Services on your home campus.
Enhancement Studies
The following downloads explain how accepting credit will affect your course and the units you should study this year:
- Enhancement Studies - for single degree students (RTF)
- Enhancement Studies - for double degree students (RTF)
Accept your approved credit
You must sign a form accepting the addition of credit to your course. Without your approval credit for previous studies will not be added to your course. You will be able to view your credit on the Web Enrolment System (WES) only after it has been entered in the student database.
Additional Credit
If you have completed tertiary studies in addition to those supplied at the time of application and you would like to receive credit, please visit Arts Student Services on your home campus. You must bring original or certified transcripts to support your application.
How to apply for or amend credit after enrolment has finished
To be granted credit that has not been pre-assessed or to make changes later on in your course you will need to apply by completing a credit application form to have credit added, or complete an application to have credit revoked to have credit removed from your course.
