First in the Family Network

The 'First in the Family' network offers students:

• Personal networking opportunities with senior academic staff
• Great social events and workshops
• Future leadership opportunities in the Arts faculty
• Support within the university environment

The 'First in the Family' network is available to all Arts students who are the first in their family to receive tertiary education. Note that this requirement excludes siblings – you just need to be part of the first generation in your immediate family to attend university.
