Ms Nadie Butcher
Biography
I am a French national and have been teaching French at Monash since my arrival in Australia over 10 years ago. After a career in the international corporate environment, I converted to the arts and undertook a second series of studies at the Sorbonne in Paris, where I specialised in philosophy of language.
Teaching responsibilites
I currently teach Beginners French and Second Year Advanced French within the undergraduate program and Beginners level French in the Evening classes program which is open to the general public. Over my twelve years at Monash I have taught at all levels and have taught the French upgrading course provided by the French Studies program to primary and secondary teachers in the public sector.
