Minor in French Studies - Year Level 2
Students who are considering completing the Major in French Studies should refer to the section on the Major. The following information applies to students who wish to complete no more than the Minor in French Studies.
The Minor in French Studies consists of 24 points of study comprising one of the following:
- 24 points of core units i.e. the first year sequence of two 6-point core units plus a second year sequence (two 6-point units) normally composed of the next two core units indicated in the sequence of French Studies core units.
OR
- 18 points of core language units (i.e. the first year sequence of two 6-point core units and the next core unit in the sequence of French Studies core units) plus one second-year level elective.
French Study Abroad units (exchange or summer-semester) to a value of 6 or 12 points can be substituted for second-year level units in either of the above configurations of the Minor.
