Undergraduate courses (domestic applicants)
Studying On-campus
First Semester Entry
If you are a citizen or permanent resident of Australia, or a citizen of New Zealand, your application should be made through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre ( VTAC ). This applies even if you have studied year 12 interstate or overseas.
VTAC Guides are available from news agencies or the VTAC office. The guide contains all the information you need to apply for courses. Applications open in July and close at the end of September.

Mid Year Entry
If you are a citizen or permanent resident of Australia, or a citizen of New Zealand, you will need to apply directly to the Faculty of Arts. For more information on the application process, please refer to the Central Admissions Undergraduate Application page.
Courses with additional application requirements
Bachelor of Music
In addition to acheiving the appropriate ENTER score, students wishing to apply for the Bachelor of Music (all intake periods) must complete an audition for the Performance and/or Composition streams.

Bachelor of Performing Arts
The majority of places in the Bachelor of Performing Arts are awarded on the basis of ENTER scores. All applicants must complete an audition. For information on the audition process please refer to the Centre for Drama and Theatre Studies.
Social and Community Welfare courses
Students applying for Social and Community Welfare courses (including double degree courses) must complete an additional Course Administration Form . This process applies for on-campus and off-campus learning students.

Off-campus Learning
If you want to undertake the whole of your studies via off-campus learning, you will need to apply directly to the University.

Diplomas
If you are interested in applying to concurrently study an undergraduate diploma alongside your undergraduate degree you will need to apply directly to the Faculty of Arts. Please download and submit an Undergraduate Diploma Application Form to the Faculty of Arts.
If you are not currently enrolled in degree program with the Faculty of Arts at Monash University, you will need to gain approval from your Faculty or Home Institution prior to submitting your application form.
NB: Under the ESOS Act, International Students are no longer permitted to undertake a Diploma in Arts or a Diploma in Languages.
Diploma of Tertiary Studies
The Diploma of Tertiary Studies is a one year full-time course designed as an alternative entry pathway to university study. The program is particularly suited to students requiring additional learning support in their first year of university study, and is offered at the Gippsland campus of Monash University.

Bachelor of Letters and the Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Theology
If you wish to apply for the Bachelor of Letters (BLitt) or the double degree Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Theology you will need to apply directly to the Faculty of Arts.
