Arts Mid-year Entry
You don't need to wait until March each year to commence or change your course. You can get a head start by applying for mid-year entry.
If you find you have been studying the wrong course and need a change, or if you took time off in semester one, and you are now ready to start, why not apply for a Monash Arts program commencing from July?
At Monash Arts you can start many undergraduate programs, and most postgraduate programs in either March or July.
Undergraduate
Monash Arts accepts applicants into most undergraduate degrees in the second semester of each year. However, due to the course structures of the following degrees mid-year entry is not offered:
- Bachelor of Music
- Bachelor of Performing Arts
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Music
- Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Commerce
- Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Performing Arts

Within these courses, you can commence most majors at mid-year; a limited number of majors may only be commenced in semester 1 (e.g. beginner's languages).
Places may be offered in the following fee categories:
- Commonwealth-supported Places (CSP)- please note: limited CSP places may be available
- Australian full-fee
- International full-fee.

Honours
In most cases, an Honours program can be commenced mid-year. For detailed information, visit the Arts Honours page.
Postgraduate
Monash Arts accepts applicants into most postgraduate degrees in the second semester of each year. However, please note the following:
- the interpreting stream of the Master of Interpreting and Translation Studies is not offered mid-year
- postgraduate coursework studies in Criminal Justice will next be offered in 2009
- the Graduate Diploma in Languages cannot be commenced mid-year without prior knowledge.
