Arts postgraduate cross institutional study

Through cross institutional study you can take subjects at Monash University and have them count towards your postgraduate coursework program at another Australian tertiary institution.
Monash Arts offers an impressive range of units for you to study, see subjects offered by Arts.
Your home institution must support your application for cross institutional study.
Further information is available below.
Fee Information
You will be charged either on a full-fee or Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) according to the verified funding status at your home institution. See fees information.
Application process
1) Download and complete a cross institutional application
Please ensure you read the information on the application carefully. It explains the documentation you will need to submit to support your application.
To download the application form see Monash student forms
2 ) Check closing dates
Application closing dates are listed on Monash Student Services. See closing dates
3) Submit application to the Faculty of Arts
You must submit your application to Monash Arts prior to the closing date. For contact information, see Arts Student Services
Change your cross-institutional enrolment
Due to changes in your study plan or changes to unit offerings at Monash or your home institution you may need to change or discontinue your enrolment after you have enrolled.
Discontinue units
It is important that you remember that standard census dates apply to cross-institutional studies units. See principal dates
If you are discontinuing your cross-institutional studies completely you must do so at both Monash and your home institution to avoid fees and fail grades. You will need to discontinue your Monash unit in person at a Faculty office. See Arts Student Services
Change units
To change your Monash units you must submit a new cross-institutional application so we can assess your eligibility to enrol in the replacement unit. Please make a note on the form that this is a replacement unit.
You will also have to supply evidence that the replacement unit has been approved by your home institution.
You must meet any deadlines that your home institution advertises as well as standard variation to enrolment deadlines at Monash University.
You cannot add units after the second week of semester. See KeyDates.
Results
An award will not be provided at the completion of study. However, you can apply for an academic transcript after the release of results.
Your transcript shows the units you have completed at Monash University and the results achieved.
You will need to provide your home institution with an academic transcript from Monash so that they can record the outcome of your studies at Monash.
Transcripts are available via the Monash Student Services Centre, see Monash transcripts.
