Transfer to an Arts undergraduate degree

About 25% of our new students have previously studied at another Australian tertiary institution.

Generally, you must have achieved a 60% average to transfer to an Arts single degree or a 70% average to transfer to a double degree managed by the Faculty of Arts. You must also meet any pre-requisite requirements for your chosen degree or double degree.

Our course information includes details of specific entry requirements for each degree.

Most transfer students are eligible for credit. The amount depends on the type of study completed and the structure of the chosen Monash Arts course. See credit information.

Different application procedures apply for current Monash students and applicants that are new to the university.

New to Monash

If you are currently studying at another institution and would like to transfer to Monash Arts, you need to apply for entry by the process outlined for Future Students. See How to Apply

Current Monash Students

If you are already studying a degree at Monash, you can apply to the Faculty of Arts for a transfer. See course transfers or campus transfers
