Bachelor of Arts - single degree

The Bachelor of Arts is a flexible degree that allows students to match their academic interests with their career goals to create the ideal course.
Arts provides a set of general, portable and lasting skills vital to any career, such as the ability to research an issue, present an argument, analyse information, communicate clearly and relate well to people. There are no compulsory units. Students choose from a wide selection of studies and complete at least one major, one minor and a first-year sequence in arts.
Elective units, or a second major, may be chosen from arts or an approved area taught by another faculty.
It is offered on the Caulfield, Clayton, South Africa and Malaysia campuses.
High achieving students have the option of the Bachelor of Arts as a Participant in the Dean's Scholars Program.
Offered on the Gippsland campus and by off campus mode, the Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences is an alternative to the Bachelor of Arts.

STUDENT PROFILE

KATIE OH
Katie’s studies began at Monash College, where she completed a Diploma in Arts. This proved an ideal transition to the Bachelor of Arts, where she has continued to explore her passion for communication.
During winter semester 2010 Katie travelled to Europe to take part in the Gallipoli/Prato program. Her overseas study began in Turkey before continuing on to our study centre in Prato.
