The Program is a major new teaching and research initiative of the School of Geography and Environmental Science. It aims to promote excellence in learning and innovative research by offering a range of undergraduate units and research degrees, leading interested students to full qualification specializing in the archaeology of Aboriginal Australia and Torres Strait.
The Program, through GES, has existing active research strengths in Australian indigenous archaeology, attracting major awards/grants and producing field research and scientific and popular publications.
