The Programme is a major new teaching and research initiative of the School of Geography and Environmental Science. It aims to promote excellence in learning and innovative research by offering a range of undergraduate units and research degrees, leading interested students to full qualification specializing in the archaeology of Aboriginal Australia and Torres Strait.
The Programme, through GES , has existing active research strengths in Australian indigenous archaeology, attracting major awards/grants and producing field research and scientific and popular publications.
