Research interests
Housing market dynamics; urban spatial patterns, development and planning; social applications of GIS; socio-spatial polarisation; geodemographics.
Recent research
Recent work includes the construction of an extensive nation-wide non-metropolitan housing market database, including the documentation, management and integration of data from a range of sources, years and formats. In general, my research involves the manipulation, analysis and often mapping of various quantitative datasets such as customised census matrices, standard census outputs, property sales records, various social surveys and private rental data information.
