Travelling to the Clayton campus of Monash University
By car: the trip will take about 20 minutes from the city centre along the Monash Freeway. From Melbourne airport the trip takes 40 minutes. You'll need a map if driving yourself: see www.whereis.com . If you are driving, you can park in S1 (bottom right in the linked Clayton campus map, ticket parking so you need some change to pay at ticket machine.) If you are taking a taxi, asked to be dropped off at the Alexander Theatre drop off point.

By train: to get to Clayton campus by public transport, take any of the Dandenong, Pakenham or Cranbourne line trains to Huntingdale station then catch a bus (will be labelled Monash University NOT Elwood) to the campus. Buses leave the station for Clayton campus every 15-20 minutes and drop off just south of Building 11. You'll need a Zone 1 Adult Daily ticket, available at the train station (again, change needed) for $5.90. Allow an hour transit time from the city centre (depends on connections, whether you get an express train etc.)
