Wardaman Archaeology Project

Since 1988 we have been researching, together with an international team, the archaeology and history of Wardaman land use and rock art, Victoria River region, northern Australia. Our aim has been to better understand cultural and historical contexts of rock art production in Wardaman country, focusing on their social and, for the ethnographic period at least, ontological dimensions.
