The Ottoman Empire: From Gazi to Gallipoli
Introductory class in Melbourne December 2007 Three week study tour in Turkey January 2008
The study tour for The Ottoman Empire: Gazi to Gallipoli is from 1-24 January 2008. The first seminar on the 19 November 2007 will include an introductory lecture giving an overview the Ottoman Empire and the places we are visiting on the study tour in Turkey. It will also provide an opportunity to attend to some house-keeping details, as well as a chance to meet and greet fellow participants. The second seminar on 22 February 2008 will bring the themes of the course together and provide a chance to debrief and evaluate the study tour, and of course have a mini reunion.
