Penalties for late submission of assignments
Written work submitted late without good reason (e.g. illness, in which case a medical certificate will normally be required), or in the absence of a prior arrangement with your tutor, will be penalised. Essays up to 10 working days late will be penalised at the rate of 1% per working day. Essays submitted more than 10 days late will be penalised, graded pass/fail, and will not carry explanatory comments.

Grounds for Failure
In all subjects, attendance at tutorials is compulsory and repeated absence without good reason may result in the subject being failed.
Failure to attend more than 60% of tutorials may result in failure.
Failure to complete all major assignments (any assignment worth 15% or more of overall assessment) will be grounds for failure.
