Scholarships

The School of Humanities, Communications and Social Sciences at Monash University’s Gippsland Campus is offering a scholarship for research at Masters level for projects in cognitive science. Preference will be given to candidates prepared to work in the areas of perception, virtual reality, road safety/driver behaviour, sports psychology or developmental psychology. Applicants should have completed a first-class honours degree in cognitive science, behavioural studies, psychology, information technology, or a related field. The award is intended to support two years of full-time study commencing in early 2007.

Stipend: The Monash Graduate Scholarship rate is approximately $19,500 per annum.

Duration: Two years, full time

Commencement: Early 2007

Location: Bionics and Cognitive Science Centre, Monash University , Gippsland Campus

Application Details

Candidates for the research scholarship in Cognitive Science should include in their application:

  1. Transcripts of previous study
  2. Details of any research experience and/or publications
  3. A description of their area of research interest. This should be half to one page in length and may include a proposal for a research project, though this is not essential.
