Dr Stuart Levy

Lecturer History-Politcs
Stuart enrolled in a PhD with Monash
University at the Gippsland Campus in 1993. His thesis, entitled
"The Pursuit of Sovereign Identity: Indonesia's Archipelagic
State Concept" was completed at the end of 1998 and Stuart graduated
in 1999 as a Doctor of Philosophy (Politics). From the outset Stuart
has worked in a variety of areas and disciplines for HUMCASS
. Currently he teaches in Politics and the Diploma of Foundation
Studies. His research interests are primarily International Relations
(specifically the nature of state sovereignty) and the transition
issues confronted by students new to university studies.
