Coordinator: Annamaria Pagliaro

Students from first year onwards, intending to major in Italian, are encouraged to take intensive courses organised in Prato. These courses may be accredited towards the major in Italian with the Convenor's permission.

Students intending to complete an Honours Year in Italian may, as part of their program, do a Semester of study in Italy at one of the universities with whom Monash has official exchange agreements. At present these are the University of Florence, the University of Bologna and Cagliari.

Monash University, through its Education Abroad Office, provides financial assistance to all students intending to take part in a Study Abroad Program. Students may apply for a base travel grant. In addition to this, further subsidies may be available for students undertaking a semester of study in Italy. Please check with coordinator.
