Options (elective units) give students the chance to study a range of areas of Italian culture, history, literature, cinema and migration in more detail. Check carefully, as some options are only available in one semester, and some are only offered in alternate years.

School-wide and Inter-school Options:
Note: The School-wide options listed on the School’s web site may be counted towards an Italian Major with the permission of the Convenor. Students should note that School-wide options (i. e. units which begin with a code other than ITA) are normally taught in English, but students of Italian may be required to attend an additional separate tutorial and read texts and secondary sources in Italian as well as English, and write part of their assessment in Italian.
