Find Your Own Level

Entry

The six course programs offer different points of entry, and can be taken at a level that suits your specific needs. Some are classified as Higher Degree by Research (HDR), while others are based purely on coursework (CW).

Fees

Fee structures are dependent on several variables. A limited number of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP's) are available for each of the courses. Students applying for an HDR degree are also eligible to receive an APA scholarship.

Duration

Full and part-time options are available to students. Duration of Coursework degrees is calculated by a point system measured across semesters. Winter and summer intensives permit condensation of required time for completion.

Constructing Your Course

Courses are constructed from a combination of the following elements:

Units - These are subjects of study taught as seminars or lectures. Units may be taught over an entire semester or as intensives during the Winter and Summer breaks.

Research - Research is the main or entire component of a Higher Degree, such as a PhD or M.A. It also forms an optional component (up to one third) of a Masters by Coursework degree.

Placement Internships - A Placement unit offers students the opportunity to gain work experience in a field related to the chosen course. Students will normally complete a Research Project associated with their work.
