Postgraduate Journalism programs: text transcript of video

From 2010 Monash is offering a Masters of Journalism, 18 months full-time. Not only as a single, stand-alone degree which you can also do part-time but also as part of a double degree. And there are a range of options there. You can do a double degree in Journalism and Australian Studies, Journalism and Business, Journalism and Environmental Studies, Journalism and International Relations, Journalism and International Development and there are others in the pipeline as well. So that’s a very attractive option for someone who’s got an undergraduate degree. Maybe they’ve been out in the workforce for a year or two and now they’re interested in a new direction. Come and do postgraduate study with us and all the things that apply at the undergraduate program, in terms of international links, links with employers, opportunities with employers, opportunities for work experience, opportunities for travel and study overseas, all of those things apply to the postgraduates, just as much as they apply to the undergraduates.
