Monash is Australia’s largest university and it is extremely well connected on an international basis. And here in Journalism we have connections with European, Asian and North American universities. Our students go on study abroad programs to all of those continents. And at the moment we’re actually running a project, which is being funded out the EU in Brussels, and out of Canberra, where our students are collaborating with students from three other Australian universities and four European universities in putting together reports about the environment, and particularly environmental sustainability, that have both a local and a global dimension. And as part of that project a proportion of our students are funded to travel to Europe to study for six months. And European students are coming to our campus. So students can expect that from the very early days in their study at Monash that they will be operating in an international context.
