(여러분들도 하나씩 개발해서 리스트로 보내 주시기 바랍니다. 만드는 원리를 이해하는 것과 실제로 만들어 보는데는 큰 차이가 있습니다. 그리고 앞에서 말씀 드렸듯이 본 워크숍의 의미가 서로 도와 가면서 배운다는 것뿐만 아니라 공동 개발을 통해 개발에 필요한 시간을 단축하고 학습자료 공유를 통해서 더 나은 학습 환경을 만드는데 있습니다. 그리고 제 과제에 대한 논평도 부탁드립니다.) Web Task: Palace (1): How to get there In this activity we will be visiting KyongBokGung Palace in Seoul to find how to get there by public transport. KyongBokGung Palace is located at the centre of Seoul and was the royal residence of fifteen monarchs of Choson dynasty from 1395 to the early 20th century. (It might be easier to do this activity if you print this task page out.) 학생들에게 배경 지식을 주기 위해서 경복궁에 관한 간단한 설명을 제시했습니다. 1. List the Korean words you expect to find on this webpage related to the how-to-get-there information. 길 찾기와 관련해서 학생들로 하여금 배경지식을 활성화하도록 하기 위한 항목입니다. 읽기에 있어서 배경지식은 아주 중요합니다. 언어적 지식보다 배경 지식의 유무가 이해에 더 결정적인 영향을 미친다는 연구도 있습니다. 2. Go to the site (http://www.joynet.co.kr/summer/tour.htm) which has the list of places suitable for daily sightseeing trips. Find the link for KyongBokGung Palace and click on it. Once you get the palace page, answer the questions below in Korean.? The information you are looking for is located inside a table at the top of the page. 경복궁 페이지로 직접 가도록 할 수도 있었지만, 첫 번째 사이트를 통해 가도록 한 것은 학생들이 훑어 찾기(scanning)를 하도록 하기 위해서입니다. 그리고 기술적인 문제로는 경복궁 페이지의 웹 주소에 한글이 포함되어 있어서 혹시 링크가 제대로 작동하지 않을까봐서 입니다. 3. Which subway line do you have to take to go to the palace? 4. If you go to KyongBokGung by bus, at which bus stop do you have to get off? 5. How long does it take from the bus stop to KyongBokGung on foot? 3-5번을 하려면 우선 훑어 읽기(skimming)와 훑어 찾기를 통해서 '교통' 부분을 찾아야 하고 그 다음에는 이 부분에 대한 정독을 하게 될 것입니다. 6. What other information does the webpage provide in the table which contains the how-to-get-there information?? 교통 부분 이외의 정보에도 정독을 적용하도록 합니다. 7. Did you find all the information that you expected? Put a check mark beside each item in the list of No.1 that you have found on the site. 배경 지식이 중요하다는 것을 알려 주기 위한 항목입니다. 8. List words that you had not known before but managed to understand through the context. 학생들이 문맥을 통해서 모르는 단어를 이해하도록 합니다. 9. Now choose one of tourist sites in your city and write the information on its location, how to get there, admission fee and opening hours in Korean. 학생들이 앞에서 배운 것을 적용해서 쓰기를 하도록 합니다.
