WARM UP
Before you start this web task, check up your vocabulary.
Talk about food and Korean food in pair.
- What is your favorite food? And can you make it?
Do you know Korean food? And What ?
Make a list of Korean foods with your partner.
- This is the word list for this task.
Now look up these words in English-Korean dictionary .
1. recipe
2. to chop, to cut
3. to mix, to blend
4. to roast
5. to boil
6. to fry
7. to slice
8. condiments, seasonings
9. powdered red pepper , to be spicy
10. soysauce
11. salt , to be salty
12. sugar, to be sweet
Activity
1. Go to the stite http://kr.cook.yahoo.com/korean/index.html
2. Select a Korean food from the list which you want to make. And type the
name.
3. Answer the Question after you read the page.
- What is the food's name?
- What is the food made of?
- How do you think will it taste?
- Make a list of the verbs in right order which you need to make the
food.
And make the recipe in your native languge.
FOLLOW UP
Introduce the food in Korean to your partner and expain how to cook .
And Listen your partner's and ask about the food.
HOMEWORK
Make your own recipe of the food.
The recipe has to include the food's name and how to cook .
