Centre for Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies Community Engagement
The Centre for Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies runs a Senior School Colloquium in Critical Theory. The Centre collaborates with teachers from Brighton Grammer and Melbourne Boys Grammar, who convene a group of 16 public and private schools in an outreach program that caters for gifted students.
The lecture and tutorial series, given by CCLCS staff and postgraduates, offers insights into CCLCS research of relevance to the contemporary construction of knowledge. The 2004 series was highly successful.
By popular request from schools,there is an enlarged series in first semester 2005.
