Australian Indigenous Studies Honours

Students proceeding into the fourth year (Honours) have the opportunity of consolidating their understanding of an area of specialisation while pursuing a research topic. This qualifies students for a degree of BA (Hons) in Australian Indigenous Studies. The fourth year is one year full-time or two years part-time, at Clayton campus.

Prerequisites for Honours study

Students intending to do honours in Indigenous Studies should have completed a BA degree including a major in Indigenous Studies in which they have achieved grades of 70% or better to the value of twenty-four points taken at second and third-year levels, including at least 16 points at third-year level (18 points for those students commencing BA in 2000 or after).
