Music Research Seminars
The School presents an annual program of Research and Work-in-Progress seminars by visiting scholars, staff and postgraduate students.
In addition it presents the Distinguished Lecture Series (two lectures by visiting scholars per annum).
The Meet-the-Composer Series, which has been held annually over the past ten years, includes a lecture on the life and works of a chosen Australian composer and a concert of his/herselected works, in the presence of the composer.
Research and Work-in-Progress seminars are held throughout the University year, in the Performing Arts Centre:
- Monday evenings (6.00–7.30pm)
- Thursday mornings (9.30–11.00am)
All those interested are warmly invited to attend.
