Graduate Australian Studies Program

Why study Australian Studies?

The Master of Australian Studies offers a new and innovative program for international and domestic students. This is an advanced level coursework program which focuses on the study of contemporary Australia.

The course aims to develop students' understanding of the diversity and extent of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian experience. Students will also gain an understanding of Australian cultural and social forms in a global context.

English Language Requirements

To gain entry to Monash Arts as an international student, as well as meeting academic requirements, applicants must also meet Monash University's English language requirements.

Monash Study Abroad Program

The Monash Study Abroad Program offers students the opportunity to study at Monash for one or two semesters. Students can use semester breaks to travel around Victoria, Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
